About the Role: Join our dynamic team at Central Jersey Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics as a Registered Dental Hygienist! You will play a vital role in providing exceptional dental care to our young patients in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and preventive care for pediatric patients.
Educate children and parents on oral hygiene practices and dental health.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans.
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment provided.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to enhance patient care.
Provide a comforting and positive experience for young patients during visits.
Requirements:
Valid New Jersey Dental Hygienist license.
Experience working in a pediatric dental setting preferred.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Compassionate demeanor and a passion for pediatric dentistry.
Current CPR certification and knowledge of emergency procedures.
Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to patient care.

We are a two doctor, one location, privately owned (non-DSO) practice with many long-term team members that are like an extended family. Our practice is family centric and prioritizes quality care. Knowing our patients and their families is an important part of our practice philosophy. Preferred experience in the pediatric dental field. Compensation based upon experience.
Alternating Saturdays are needed from 8:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.
