Responsibilities:

• Perform routine dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures
• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and document patient records
• Take and review dental X-rays and present findings to the dentist
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Screen patients for oral diseases, including periodontal disease and oral cancer
• Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and dental sealants
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and workflow

Requirements:

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Ohio
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with dental practice management software preferred
• Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care
• Excellent communication and patient relations skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a team environment
