Job Description
To qualify for the position of Registered Dental Hygienist, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
- Hold an up-to-date CPR certification
- Be certified in laser dentistry
- Exhibit a strong commitment to oral health and patient well-being
Key responsibilities of the Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) include:
- Educating patients on dental hygiene practices, including tooth care and nutrition
- Performing scaling and polishing to eliminate plaque and tartar buildup
- Taking dental impressions and/or radiographs
- Applying preventive treatments such as antibacterial agents, fissure sealants, and topical fluorides to reduce the risk of cavities
- Conducting screenings and monitoring oral health conditions
