About the Role:
Wrightsville Dental in Wilmington, NC is looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a welcoming, professional environment where your expertise truly makes a difference.



Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures for patients
• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments including periodontal charting and screenings
• Take and review dental X-rays (radiographs) in accordance with practice protocols
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive strategies
• Document accurate patient records and treatment notes in the practice management system
• Collaborate with the dentist and dental team to develop individualized patient treatment plans
• Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride or sealant treatments as needed

Requirements:

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of North Carolina
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with dental practice management software is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care
