Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS/Echo Tech) - (260723-50001436)

Purpose of Position: To obtain data on the condition of the patient''s heart and circulation through various electronic and mechanical means.

Description

:

1. Perform Echocardiogram and write preliminary report.

2. Log and file completed procedures.

3. Regularly upgrade knowledge of techniques and regulations appropriate to the age of patients served.

4. Maintains professional growth and development through approved seminars, workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.

5. Make patient appointments and insure accuracy of billing.

6. Perform EKGs, stress tests and Holter monitors as needed.

7. Perform other work related duties as requested/directed.

Qualifications

:

• Must possess at least one of the following certifications:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with at least one year of specialized experience in Doppler Echocardiography.

• Physical and mental health appropriate to the demands of the position.

Schedule Details: 30 Hours Per Week, Rotating Days/Eves, Mon-Fri, 10-hour Shifts, 6a-4p, 7a-5p, or 8a-6p, Rotating Weekends & Holidays. Must be RDCS or RCS registered.
