Registered Dietician

Job Title: Registered DietitianDepartment: Medical ServicesLocation: Bergen CountyStatus: Non-exempt | 20-25 hours per weekPay Rate: $31/hourReports To: Nurse Manager About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and culturally aware Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team in providing high-quality primary and preventive healthcare to a diverse, uninsured population. You'll work collaboratively with medical practitioners and nurses in a supportive and respectful care environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assess patients health needs and dietary patterns Counsel patients on nutrition and healthy eating habits Create culturally appropriate, cost-effective meal plans Evaluate and modify meal plans based on patient progress Provide individual and group education on nutrition-related disease prevention and management Document education and progress in the electronic medical record (EMR) Collaborate as part of a treatment team on care plans and referrals

Required Qualifications

Current Registered Dietitian (RD) certification Up-to-date knowledge of nutritional science Experience in a multi-provider or hospital-based outpatient setting Proficiency with electronic medical records Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
