Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Current licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist status with LBEDN
- Ability to pass the registration exam within the first 12 months of employment
- Minimum of 2+ years of clinical nutrition experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency with Windows applications and nutrition-specific software
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to adapt communication and behaviors to diverse patient populations
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between facilities as needed
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with therapeutic nutrition, health screening, and modified diets
- Familiarity with nutrition support principles
- Advanced knowledge of clinical nutrition assessment and care planning
- Multilingual or additional certifications in nutrition or health education
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in nutrition services
- Registered Dietitian credentials with proven competence in clinical nutrition care
Other Requirements:
- Full-time availability with a shift covering 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM
- Ability to travel across multiple healthcare facilities
- Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice
- Must meet examination eligibility requirements for RD certification and obtain licensure within 12 months of hire
