How you'll make an impact in this role
Provide Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive pre- and post-operative nutritional assessments, monitor nutrition status and manage individualized care plans for long-term bariatric success.
Manage the Care Continuum: Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative nutritional counseling-focusing on diet progression, supplementation, and long-term habits-while continuously monitoring patient progress to adjust individualized care plans.
Lead Patient Education: Empower individuals by facilitating bariatric education classes, hosting support groups, and teaching mindful eating and sustainable behavior modification.
Collaborate and Document: Partner closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary care teams while ensuring accurate, compliant medical record (EMR) documentation and accreditation compliance.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Education:
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
