Registered Dietitian

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Home Economics (Food), or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional dietetics experience, including at least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian.

Note: Additional graduate coursework in the specified fields may be substituted for up to one year of the required non-specialized experience.

Licensure: MUST be currently licensed as a Registered Dietitian.

Schedule & Compensation
Schedule: Monday – Friday (Days)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (7.5 hours/day)
Rate: $40.00/Hour - $50.00/Hour (DOE)

Onboarding & Verification

Selected candidates will be required to complete the following prior to start:

• Identogo Fingerprinting.
• Verification checks for OIG (Office of the Inspector General) registry and the Abuse Registry.

Key Responsibilities

• Nutrition Assessment: Analyze medical records, laboratory results, anthropometric data, and food intake history to evaluate nutritional status.
• Care Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor therapeutic nutrition care plans tailored to individual medical diagnoses and treatment regimens.
• Dietary Management: Calculate caloric needs, BMI, protein requirements, and fluid intake; adjust facility menus to meet specific therapeutic nutritional requirements.
• Consultation: Serve as a subject matter expert for interdisciplinary medical and nursing teams regarding nutrition therapy.
