Registered Dietitian

King David Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Registered Dietitian to join the team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY!

The Allure Group is a consortium of six rehabilitation centers across Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY, specializing in post-acute and sub-acute skilled nursing and rehabilitation. Registered Dietitian Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents
• Monitor and document residents’ nutritional status, progress, and care plan updates
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members on dietary interventions
• Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents to support healthy eating habits
• Ensure compliance with dietary guidelines, safety, infection control, and Kosher regulations
• Attend and contribute to interdisciplinary care plan meetings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in resident medical records
• Stay current with industry standards through continuing education and in-service training
• Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold all resident rights
• Perform other job-related duties as needed and directed

Registered Dietitian Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition from an accredited college or university
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or registry-eligible with the American Dietetic Association (must pass exam within required timeframe)
• Knowledge of regulatory dietary requirements for skilled nursing facilities
• COVID-19 vaccination

Preferred

• Experience with Kosher dietary practices
