    Description:

    This RD will provide consultation in Livonia, Canton and Ypsilanti clinics.

    Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Registered Dietitian to join our outpatient care team. In this role, you will plan and implement the nutritional support necessary for the effective diagnosis and treatment of diseases of all patients referred to them.

    What You'll Do:

    • Evaluates, recommends, educates, and implements comprehensive nutritional support for patients. 
    • Assists in the development of objectives of care, education, standards of practice and programs. 
    • Provides training to groups of patients regarding nutrition education. 
    • Records treatment provided and patient progress and responses in medical record.

    What We're Looking For:

    • EDUCATION: Doctor of Pharmacy/Pharmacology degree required.  Completion of self-management support training preferred.
    • CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: Valid, unrestricted license as a Pharmacist in the State of Michigan. Valid CPR certification.   Valid unrestricted State of Michigan Controlled Substance license.
    • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of relevant experience is preferred.  A Post-Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) Pharmacy Practice Residency or Post-Graduate Year 2(PGY2) Specialty Residency can substitute for relevant experience.  Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (BCACP) preferred and BCACP Board-Eligible considered.
