What You'll Do:

As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for managing the nutritional care and dietary planning for residents in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Your impact will include:

  • Conducting resident interviews and nutritional assessments

  • Completing MDS Section K and related documentation

  • Developing and updating nutrition care plans

  • Collaborating with healthcare teams and participating in care conferences

  • Advising food service staff on dietary protocols and patient needs

  • Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards

  • Participating in ongoing performance improvement initiatives

  • Reviewing and applying current clinical nutrition research

  • Orienting and mentoring interns or new staff when applicable

  • Maintaining thorough and accurate clinical documentation

What You'll Bring:

Experience and Credentials

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential or eligibility to obtain the following within 6 months

  • Licensed or license-eligible in the State of Kentucky

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field

  • Completion of 900 supervised practice hours under a Registered Dietitian

Technical & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and EMR systems

  • Ability to analyze lab values and make clinical recommendations

  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform occasional bending, reaching, or kneeling

  • Comfortable standing or sitting for extended periods
