We are hiring Permanent/Full-Time Registered Dietitians (Safety) DSH is seeking an applicant who would like the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of unique population through nutrition in a collaborative and multidisciplinary supporting environment. This position will be directed by the Dietetics Assistant Director or designee in Nutrition Services at the Department of State Hospitals LOCATION . Below is an overview of the responsibilities associated with this role:• Nutrition Assessment, Monitoring and Evaluation• Completes nutrition assessments utilizing the Nutrition CareProcess for each assigned patient• Attends and consults with members of the treatment and interdisciplinary team• Initiates a more intensive MNT plan for patients identified at higher nutritional risk• Monitors and evaluates effectiveness of nutrition interventions and outcomes• Maintains current patient profile information on assigned patients• Nutrition Therapy Plan Implementation• Implements the nutrition therapy plan in collaboration with the treatment/interdisciplinary team. Founded in 1875, Napa State Hospital is the only state hospital in Northern California for persons struggling with severe mental illness. Classified as a low to moderate security facility, the hospital has a bed capacity to treat up to 1,362 patients on an attractive campus with treatment units located on 138 acres.
