About the Role: Alamo City Healthy Kids and Families is looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our multidisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to work with adolescents, children and adults, providing nutrition care that supports long-term health and weight management success. In this rewarding role, you'll make a real difference in the lives of children and families by providing expert nutritional guidance and support.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
Develop individualized meal plans and dietary interventions tailored to each client's needs
Provide one-on-one and group nutrition counseling and education sessions
Educate patients and families on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes
Monitor and document client progress, adjusting nutrition plans as needed
Lead community outreach programs and wellness workshops focused on healthy eating habits
Support families with culturally sensitive nutrition guidance and resources
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with clinic standards
Requirements:
Active Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field
Experience working with pediatric and adolescent population is a plus
Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of Texas or eligibility to obtain licensure
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse populations
Bilingual in English and Spanish
