Registered Dietician
The Center for Elders’ Independence is a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the elderly) organization that uses an interdisciplinary team approach to care planning and care implementation for the purpose of providing high quality, affordable, integrated health care services to the elderly, including an Adult Day Health Center, and promoting autonomy, quality of life and the ability of individuals to live in their communities.
The Position: Under the supervision of the Nutrition Services Manager, the Dietitian must have comprehensive knowledge of clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets and basic food service operations in a community health and interdisciplinary team setting. The Dietitian completes participant nutritional assessments and makes nutrition and lifestyle recommendations based on participant health goals. Obtains participant food preferences and observes for adherence to dietary modifications and health outcomes. Determines adequacy of current diet and recommends supplements when necessary. Conducts meal and sanitation inspections. Provides nutrition education to participant and or caregiver, the community and other team members as needed.
The hourly pay range for the Registered Dietician position at Center for Elders’ Independence is $34.46 to $58.87. Placement within the range is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market data, consistent with CEI’s annual compensation review and established compensation practices.
