Candis Inc in Roanoke, VA is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Medication Aide to join our caring team. Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications to residents accurately and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies
• Document medication administration and report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Monitor residents for medication side effects, adverse reactions, and overall well-being
• Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper storage and handling of medications
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide compassionate resident care
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care team members
• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and compliance standards

Requirements:

• Active Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification in the state of Virginia
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
• Prior experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or residential care setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medication administration protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to resident care
