Position Title: Registered Nurse 2 (26140717)

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity for a day shift 6:00am to 6:00pm Registered Nurse at the Intensive Behavior Center. This schedule rotates 36/48.

The position is responsible for providing direct patient care to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs
• Develop and implement educational programs for patients and families
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Montana
• Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a mental health or substance use disorder setting
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
