**Harborview's Medical Respite Program** (Edward Thomas House Medical Respite) has an outstanding opportunity for a **Registered Nurse.**

**Department Summary**
Harborview's Medical Respite Program (Edward Thomas House Medical Respite) is a program that provides recuperative care to people experiencing homelessness who are too sick to return to the shelter or streets, but do not require a hospital level of care.
**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Screen and triage referrals from King County hospitals for Medical Respite admission
+ Coordinate with referring facilities and Respite staff to complete referral documentation
+ Determine patient eligibility for admission
+ Facilitate and coordinate patient transfers to the Respite program
+ Demonstrate strong multitasking, attention to detail, and communication skills
+ Provide direct nursing care within the clinic setting as needed
+ Perform wound care and PICC line management
+ Support case management activities in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
**REQUIREMENTS**
+ Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Washington
+ Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience (including wound care, PICC line management, and case management)
+ At least 1 year of experience working with homeless and/or safety-net populations
