    Description

    The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed critical access hospital in Alturas, CA, to hire Registered Nurses to join their Acute Care team.

    Working under the direction of the Charge Nurse, the RN delivers safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care while utilizing sound clinical judgment and established nursing practices.

    This role involves assessing, monitoring, and supporting patients, as well as collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure excellent outcomes.

    Full-time positions include a comprehensive benefits package, while per diem opportunities offer flexible scheduling.

    Schedule: Full-Time or Per Diem | All shifts | On-site

    What You’ll Do

    • Perform individualized patient assessments and promptly report abnormal findings to physicians
    • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes
    • Foster clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
    • Uphold professionalism, integrity, and patient confidentiality at all times
    • Collaborate across departments to support quality patient care and facility operations

    What We’re Looking For

    • Current California RN license in good standing
    • Active CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
    • Strong critical thinking skills with excellent physical and mental stamina
    • Effective verbal and written communication abilities
    • Reliable, organized, and collaborative with a patient-centered approach
