Primary Scheduled Hours: per diem
Job Summary: Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Acute Care setting. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with a minimum of supervision. Can triage safely, rapidly, and accurately, every patient that enters the Acute Care system. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with PCP physician about changes in patient's status, symptomatology, and results of diagnostic studies. Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Float required to ER, OB, and other hospital departments as assigned.

Minimum Education: | Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. |
Required Licensure / Certifications: | Current RN license within the state of practice. Current BLS Certification. NRP with one (1) year of hire. ACLS Certified within six (6) months of hire. TNCC within one (1) year of hire. ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) within one (1) year of hire, or PALS within one (1) year of hire. |
