    Description

    Position Summary: The Registered Nurse will support multiple providers at Rush Medical Group outpatient clinics -RMGPediatrics Aurora and RMGPediatrics and Family Medicine Oswego. RN may be scheduled at either location. The registered nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patients status, plan of care, and goal achievement. Care is provided in a compassionate, professional, ethical, and knowledgeable fashion based on the Caring Model, exemplifies the mission, vision and values of Copley, and is in accordance with policies and procedures. The registered nurse is expected to uphold the most ethical and safe processes while keeping the care of the patient as a top priority. The position works closely with the entire multidisciplinary team and must have a complete understanding of own limitations and, in turn, seek advice, judgment and support of others, when necessary. Position Description/Requirements: Responsibilities include the following:Telephone triage according to established practice guidelines, patient education, MyChart, medication refills, quality initiatives,andadministering injections as necessary. Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license required. Associates Degree in Nursing required, Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred. BSN must be achieved within 5 years of hire. American Heart AssociationCPR Required Excellent oral/written communication skills Excellent organizational skills Ability to set priorities, document conversations and specific actions taken and develop applicable policies and procedures Medical practice management and EMR software experience preferred (specifically Epic). Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel) helpful.
