- Hours: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Required Qualifications Licensure
- Active California RN License
Certifications - BLS, ACLS, PALS Job Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive emergency assessments and triage patients based on acuity.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans using the nursing process.
- Deliver emergency nursing care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes requiring immediate intervention.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments as ordered.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Respond to critical situations including trauma, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress, and neurological events.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, procedures, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate and supervise support staff appropriately.
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
