Registered Nurse

Location: Bartlesville, OK

Facility: Ascension Medical Group Cardiology Clinic

Specialty: Cardiology

Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

• Patient Triage & Evaluation: Conduct initial evaluations, review medical histories, interpret 12-lead EKGs, and manage walk-ins/tele-health calls to assess urgent symptoms and address medication needs.

• Diagnostic & Device Management: Perform or assist with diagnostic procedures—such as stress tests and echocardiograms—while programming pacemakers/ICDs and managing intravenous and oral heart medications.]

• Patient Education & Counseling: Counsel patients on cardiovascular diseases, required lifestyle or dietary changes, and pre- or post-procedure care to ensure long-term risk reduction.

• Continuity & Resource Optimization: Facilitate seamless transitions between outpatient and inpatient settings while optimizing department resources so cardiologists can focus on acute cases.

  
  
  

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

• Experience in cardiology or cardiovascular preferred
• Excellent communication skills
