Planned Parenthood Northern California (PPNorCal) is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Walnut Creek, Hilltop and San Francisco Health Centers. This role is part-time, onsite, 24 hours weekly. Work Schedule
Monday: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM (Hilltop Health Center)
Wednesday: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM (Walnut Creek Health Center)
Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm (Walnut Creek)
Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (1 (one) Saturday per month in SF Health Center with rotating week day off)

SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse will function as part of health center department staff providing direct patient-centered care in surgical abortion clinic under the clinical supervision of the Nurse Manager and in accordance with PPFA and PPNorCal Medical Standards and Guidelines and all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
When working with an LVN in the recovery room during surgical abortion clinic, the RN is responsible for supervising all aspects of LVN work.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge/experience with EHR & EPM systems. Knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software preferred.

Pay Range: The wage scale reflects the compensation that a new employee can expect to receive if offered employment. The wage scale for this position is $53.00 -$63.33 per hour, based on relevant professional years of experience.
