12HR D/N ROTATING SHIFTS -OR- 12HR NIGHT SHIFTS
Experience: Must have MS and inpatient hematology oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum). Chemo certification is required.
Patient Diagnoses: " Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) " Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Adult) " Amyloidosis " Aplastic Anemia " Chronic Leukemia " Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) " Chronic Myeloid (Myelogenous) Leukemia " Hodgkin's Lymphoma " Multiple Myeloma " Myelodysplastic Syndrome " Myeloproliferative Disorders " Non-Hodgkin s Lymphoma Special Procedures/Unit Details: " Autologous Transplants: Patients receive their own stem cells. " Syngeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their identical twin. " Allogeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their sibling, parent, or an unrelated donor. " CAR-T Therapy
Certifications Required: " Basic Life Support (BLS) " Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification
Preferred Certifications: " Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
COMPUTERIZED CHARTING " EPIC experience required
Skills Required: " MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry) " Telemetry monitoring " Interpretation of dysrhythmias " Use of Rapid Response Teams " Feeding tube care and management " Blood product administration " Central line blood draw " Peripheral line care/management " PICC line management " Nasal cannula administration " Central line sterile dressing changes " Chemotherapy administration
If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.
