Medical 100 is a 21-bed medical unit renowned for its dynamic, collaborative environment and commitment to exceptional patient-centered care. Our team cares for patients with a variety of complex medical conditions, including congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), dialysis needs, advanced wound care, and hospice services. With many patients experiencing a 3-night stay, nurses have the unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships while delivering compassionate, individualized care. Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Candidates $4,000 Sign-On Bonus 40 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off Up to $3,000 Relocation bonus $1.00 Certification pay $1.00 BSN pay Career Ladder Bonus eligible up to $5,000 The Medical-Surgical nurse is responsible for managing the care of the adult or geriatric patient experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical procedures. The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education. The Medical-Surgical nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.

Education Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Experience: Preferred: Previous nursing experienceSkills:• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Demonstrate effective leadership abilities• Exhibits valuable time management skills• Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.• Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.Licensure/Certification/Registration: Required: RN license active in the state of Missouri
