Registered Nurses are members of a multi-disciplinary team focused on providing compassionate care through patient-centered and recovery-focused mental health services to individuals with mental illness including:
* Conducting nursing assessments
• Preparing, implementing, and modifying nursing care plans
• Providing health teaching, counseling, and education to individuals and families
• Implementing infection control protocols and procedures
• Observing and recording individual's symptoms and care; reporting responses to medications or changes in health
• Coordinating and providing nursing care
1. Minimum staffing requirements, including licenses and certifications:
- Valid NYS RN License and BLS Certification (AHA Approved) are required by the start date of services. No Psychiatric Experience Required, Experience not mandatory, new Graduate nurses are welcome and will receive orientation and support, All CLINICAL Training provided during Orientation.
2.Vaccination requirements:
- Medical/immunization screening (recent PPD, blood work with titers levels and etc.)
3. Training will be provided
- 3 to 4 weeks of Orientation conducted on Day Shift (Includes shadowing, training, and facility policy overview)
Salary commensurate with scope of work job experience
Proper footwear required to perform tasks in a safe manner.
Perform other reasonably related duties as required.
