Job Overview: As a Registered Nurse in our Cath Lab, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients undergoing catheterization procedures. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients throughout their cath lab experience. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation, setup, and operation of catheterization equipment and monitoring devices. Administer medications and IVs as required during catheterization procedures. Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms, making immediate assessments and interventions when necessary. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding the catheterization procedure and recovery. Collaborate with interventional cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and document all aspects of care in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean, and sterile environment in the cath lab. Qualifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of license. American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification required Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care expierence with recent expierence in a catheterization lab position preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
