Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted, Charge Nurse Experience Requested Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Post MI, Heart failure, Arrhythmias, Chest pain, Peripheral Vascular Disease; Peritoneal Dialysis; Telemetry, EKG, Doppler Ratio / Census: 1:5; 16 Beds with average daily census of 16 Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR Scrub Color: Navy Blue RTO: MAX 7 days RTO Blackout Dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th) Weekends: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period Floating: Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed Call Requirements: None Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving/Black Friday (counts as one) Christmas Eve/Christmas Day (counts as one) New Years Eve/New Years Day (counts as one) Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. CLINICAL SCREEN - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision.
