Registered Nurse/Cardiac Tele

Shift: 3x12 Days 0700-1930
Weekend Coverage - Every other but may change based on need
Float is required if needed

Medication System: Omnicell
1 year of EPIC experience is required

Required certificates: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS and SC RN license

Patient Diagnoses:
Cardiac Telemetry, a 32-bed unit is responsible for providing comprehensive quality nursing care and telemetry monitoring on a 24-hour basis to patients with cardiovascular conditions. Cardiac Telemetry focuses on the care of Heart Failure patients, managing inpatient care as well as arranging care and services post-hospitalization.

Special Procedures:
Nursing care includes continuous EKG monitoring and/or continuous oxygen saturation monitoring via telemetry, administration of specific intravenous and oral medications which treat cardiac conditions and arrhythmias. Additionally, the unit prepares and sends patients for cardiac interventions, various surgeries, diagnostic tests, and other procedures. RNs provide holistic care to meet the individual physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, and cultural needs of each patient and their family / significant others.
