Job Title RN – Case Manager / Utilization Review / CDI
Location - 4900 Broad Rd, Syracuse, NY 13215 (New York)
Shift Day Shift – 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (5x8 Hours)
Duration 13 Weeks (Travel Assignment)
 
Job Details
  • Responsible for case management, utilization review, and clinical documentation improvement (CDI) functions
  • Ensure accurate patient assessments, care coordination, and compliance with hospital policies
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and resource utilization
  • Maintain proper documentation using EPIC Electronic Medical Records (preferred)
  • Candidates may be required to float across units within the facility
  • Must be comfortable working in acute care hospital settings of similar or larger size, including trauma centers
  • Adhere to all compliance requirements including drug screening, background checks, and health clearance
Required
  • MDS (Minimum Data Set) experience – mandatory
  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience (within specialty, no exceptions)
  • Experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers preferred
  • IV Therapy experience required
  • Ability to read telemetry strips
  • Current New York State RN Registration
  • BLS Certification (must be active or eligible for recertification)
