RN-Cath Lab- Full Time - Days North Alabama Medical Center features four Cardiac Catheterization Labs with one room dedicated to Position Summary: Responsible for the initiation and continuation of nursing care for the patient before, during, and after the cardiac procedure. Implementing proper nursing care for the patient, administration of drugs and medications, hemodynamic monitoring general knowledge, and set - up of all cardiac procedures. Position Specifications: Education Requires a high school diploma plus schooling at the college level that leads to certification or registry. (Diploma Nurse) CPR required Experience Requires one to three years of work experience. Complexity of Duties and Responsibilities Job activities are fairly complex and highly diversified but are structured within a predefined work routine. Involves the exercise of judgement in the analysis of facts or conditions regarding patient care or hospital problems to determine what action should be taken within the specifications of standard practice.
