Job Description
Summary:
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: 12-Hour Rotating Days/Nights (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM / 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) based on unit needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in a dedicated CVPICU/Pediatric CICU Open Heart setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of care
Requirements:
- 50-Mile Radius Rule Applies
- Previous Travel Experience Required
- BSN required, ADN accepted with 6 years of relevant experience
- Active Colorado RN License or Multi-State Compact License
- Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS
- Minimum 2-3 years of Staff RN experience in a dedicated CVPICU/Pediatric CICU Open Heart setting
- Weekend Requirement: Up to 75% of scheduled shifts
- No RTO will be approved during the first two weeks of the assignment
- Seasonal Influenza Vaccine required; medical and religious exemption requests accepted
Preferred Skills:
- Pediatric CCRN strongly preferred
- VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) experience preferred
- Teaching Hospital experience strongly preferred
