Location : Clayton NC 27520
Duration :6 Months

All Client positions are safety sensitive.

What experience do you have in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings?
What experience do you have using Epic EMR or similar Electronic Medical Record systems?
Are you available to work the required schedule?
-Work schedules will be created in 6-week blocks following the 3 weeks of training/orientation.
-Depending on the needs of the clinic, you can expect a shift to be between 7-10 hours during clinic operating hours.
-A typical work week will be two or three weekdays and every other weekend.
-This position also requires working on some major holidays.
Do you understand that this is a temporary/contract position, and whereas conversion to a permanent Client employee is a possibility, it is not guaranteed?

Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering treatments and medications, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and advocating for patients. Your critical thinking and clinical knowledge will help support improved patient outcomes and enhance healthcare delivery.

REQUIRED Qualifications
" Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room. (Nurses whose experience is primarily in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, home health, LTACs, and skilled nursing facilities may encounter challenges adapting to the Client environment. DO NOT submit candidates whose background is limited to these areas.)
" Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
" Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting.
" Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems; Epic experience preferred.

Duties:

You will:
" Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications.
" Evaluate complex patient conditions, monitor pain levels, and document treatment responses.
" Apply advanced knowledge of vital sign monitoring to identify and record abnormalities in blood pressure, heart rate*** respiratory rate*** and temperature.
" Perform routine assessments to monitor patient health and ensure overall well-being.
" Manage patient access to healthcare and connect individuals with community resources for medication administration, self-care techniques, and disease management.
" Conduct medication reviews to identify potential side effects and drug interactions.
" Develop and administer mental health assessments to screen for depression and evaluate mood, behavior, and cognitive function.
" Accurately document patient medical history including illnesses, medications, allergies, surgeries, and family history using electronic health records.
" Use your excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families and other healthcare professionals
" Keep an organized, well stocked, clean clinic at all times.

Experience:

B.S. degree in nursing is required, RN License in the state of work
