In this role, you will work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to deliver exceptional care to patients with a variety of urologic conditions.Shift: 1stSchedule: 8a-5p, occasional Saturday hoursHours per week: 40 hours per weekBenefits Status: Benefits EligibleDepartment: Beloit Clinic UrologyThis Registered Nurse Clinic in Urology will provide nursing care and perform procedures as necessary for patient care. The Registered Nurse Clinic in Urology will:Assist providers with office procedures and deliver appropriate nursing care according to patient needs and clinical protocols.Perform patient glucose monitoring and upload data from glucose meters, insulin pumps, and other diabetes management devices.Demonstrate proficiency in navigating and utilizing electronic health records (EHRs) and other clinical software applications accurately and efficiently.Manage incoming telephone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and coordinate communication with providers and staff.Administer medications and maintain accurate medication records in accordance with established policies and procedures.Exercise sound clinical judgment and professional communication while addressing patient needs and concerns.Ensures appropriate and adequate supplies are on handAppropriately assesses basic physical psychological and social needs of patients and their familiesProvides patient and family education appropriatelyStrictly adheres to infection control procedures including body substance isolation and bloodborne pathogen precautionsEnsures patient safety while handling, transporting, and providing medications to patientsProtect patients from various hazards, falls, diseases exposures, etc.Participates in quality assurance activities initiates and maintains accurate electronic and/or paper medical recordsAssists with completing patient paperwork including FMLA, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, etc.Job Requirements:Graduate of accredited school of nursingADN, Diploma, BSN, or MSN degree acceptable.State of Wisconsin nursing licensure, compact license or temporary permit required. (If a compact license, application for a State of Wisconsin nursing license must be initiated in no more than 30 days from start date).Must be CPR certified within 3 months of hire.Prior experience working with electronic medical records and experience in Urology preferred.Apply to join our team today!
