Location: Austin, Texas

Facility: Ascension Women's Health Lakeway

Department/Specialty: Lakeway OBGYN

Schedule: Full time | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Deliver exceptional direct nursing care by championing established clinical policies and protocols to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and well-being.

  • Drive and monitor individualized care plans, continuously assessing and documenting patient progress to dynamically adapt to their evolving healthcare needs.

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams, serving as the central hub of communication between physicians, specialists, and support staff for seamless, holistic patient outcomes.

  • Execute physician and nursing orders with precision, acting swiftly and accurately to advance the patient's treatment plan.

  • Champion the discharge planning process from day one, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patients and families transition home safely and confidently.

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.
What additional requirements you'll need:
  • Certified Registered Nurse (RN) with 2 years of dedicated experience.

  • Proven background in women's health, spanning both outpatient settings and hospital environments.
