Job Summary

The Clinical Coordinator functions as an RN member of the Healthcare team in a manner consistent with their scope of practice in Pennsylvania in concert with the policies and procedures of St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. The experienced NICU RN is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of care provided, and patient response to interventions in the NICU Emergency Dept. In addition, as Clinical Coordinator assumes specific administrative and management responsibilities. The responsibilities for this role are 80% clinical and 20% administrative.

Travel required

Monitor consultant line and clinical areas

Schedule testing, coordinate site visits and review insurance authorizations

SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri 8a - 4:30p. The scheduled start and end times require flexibility to meet the needs of the practice.

EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant experience, 3+ years
  • Experienced NICU Nurse

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
  • BSN

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

  • Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure
