    At Valley Presbyterian Hospital, we are committed to developing the next generation of nurses. We’re seeking a Registered Nurse (Clinical I) to provide high-quality patient care while building clinical skills under the guidance of experienced nurses and leadership.

    What You’ll Do

    • Provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the care team
    • Administer medications safely in accordance with hospital policies
    • Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions
    • Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record
    • Communicate effectively with physicians and care team using SBAR
    • Monitor patient conditions and escalate changes as needed
    • Support infection control and patient safety standards
    • Participate in quality improvement and patient experience initiatives
    • Assist with patient throughput and discharge planning

    What You Bring

    • New graduate RN or less than 1 year of clinical experience
    • Strong clinical judgment and willingness to learn
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
    • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

    Requirements

    • Current California RN license
    • ADN required; BSN preferred
    • AHA BLS certification
    • AHA ACLS certification
    • AHA PALS within 30 days of employment
    • Annual Stroke Education within 30 days of employment
    • LA City Fire Card within 30 days of employment
    • Management of Aggressive Behavior within 30 days of employment
    • NIHSS within 30 days of employment
