Job Summary

The Clinical Quality and Patient Safety Coordinator supports regional quality, safety, risk, and improvement efforts through collaboration, data-informed insights, and participation in improvement initiatives. The position works closely with clinical and interdisciplinary partners to monitor outcomes, identify and mitigate risk, support improvement activities, and contribute to strategies that advance high-quality, safe, and effective care across the region.

Pay Range

Minimum $110,094 Midpoint $145,870 Maximum $181,626

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience

  • Required: Minimum three years of inpatient experience with experience in risk management and/or quality improvement initiatives.
  • Preferred: Five or more years of clinical pediatric experience with clinical performance improvement and/or education, and/or clinical risk management experience.

Education

  • Required: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
  • Preferred: Master of Science Degree in Nursing, quality, informatics, or another health-related field.

Training

  • Required: N/A
  • Preferred: Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), or Certified Patient Safety Specialist (CPSS), and/or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).

Specialized Skills

  • Required: · Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of healthcare practices · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills · Flexibility and resilience to work under pressure and set and change priorities to meet the changing demands of the job · Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders · Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards · Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities · Care with sensitivity and respect; advance care through development of new ideas and technology

Licensure

  • Required: Registered Nurse (RN) with current practice credentials
