Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, TNCC
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience; prior travel experience preferred
  • Other Requirements: Ability to float within Zone 3, must be comfortable titrating critical drips, flexibility to work nights, ability to work 12-hour shifts, strong communication skills

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional nursing care to ICU patients, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing critical conditions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and charge nurses, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC charting system, including patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Execute complex patient care plans, including titrating critical drips such as pressors, sedation, and heparin, as needed.
  • Assist in troubleshooting respiratory equipment such as vents, CPAP, and BiPAP, and support respiratory therapy needs in the ICU.
