Registered Nurse - Correctional - $2,002 per week

GQR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse Correctional for a travel nursing job in Beaumont, Texas.

Role Overview:   Seeking a thick‑skinned, independent RN comfortable in a fast‑paced corrections environment. Night shift with guaranteed 36 hrs/week; potential 48 hr rotations based on facility needs. No time off accepted.

Requirements:

• Active Texas or Compact RN license
• BLS
• 2+ years RN experience
• 1+ year Acute Care or Med Surg required
• LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, Psych experience is a plus
• Must pass Clinical Screen prior to submission
• COVID vaccine required (exemptions accepted)

Schedule & OT:

• Work week: Saturday–Friday
• OT available based on performance (punctuality, attendance, call‑ins)
• Max 60 hrs/week (20 hrs OT)
• Cannot work 5+ consecutive shifts

Floating Expectations:

• Frequent floating within 10–30 minutes of assigned unit
• Drive time compensated (up to 30 minutes)
• May be diverted mid‑shift
• Could float within 50 miles of assigned unit

Orientation & Deadlines:

• Orientation: Aug 29–30 (Beaumont, TX)
• Completed profiles + CLP due: Aug 14

Compensation:

• $200 travel reimbursement max
• Competitive blended weekly packages (36/48 hr schedules)

Notes:

• Continuous employment expected (extensions common)
• Must be adaptable, professional, and avoid internal facility conflicts
