Description:
RN needed with Open Heart experience!
REQUIRED:
*CABG
*Valve post op
*Impella
*IABP
*CRRT

**Targeted patient ratios are 1:2 for Critical Care/ 1:3 for Intermediate level patients on unit**

Must have the following requirements:
Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
BLS and ACLS through AHA. Vents, NIH, IV Start, ICP, Conscious Sedation - must be able to read and interpret strips
Associate's Degree in Nursing or BSN required.
Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License
2 year exp
EPIC exp required
Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed

Floating and Other Requirements:
Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion. Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters. It will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including high-risk respiratory unit/COVID.
If assigned to MVH, this could include floating the main campus (Dayton), south campus (Centerville) less than 10 miles from Main Campus, and North Campus (Englewood) less than 15 miles from Main Campus.
Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday.
Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract.
Premier Health reserves the right to cancel the agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine.
Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives.

Knowledge/Skills:
16-bed ICU unit.
310-bed hospital
Designated Neuro Unit for Ischemic strokes receiving TPA.
COVID positive patients
CRRT, 24-hour EEG, Hypothermia post Cardiac Arrest, Prone patients
AMC is a Level III Trauma Center
They provide Family Centered Care and do not restrict visiting hours.
