TheCardiovascular Labstaff assists in the performance of basic diagnostic to complex interventional Cardiac, Peripheral and Electrophysiology procedures under the direction of the Cardiologist,Electrophysiologistor Vascular Surgeon.
The patient population served by the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory consists of the adult patient eighteen years and older; and geriatric patients requiring or seekingprocedural/surgicalintervention to maintain or restore an optimum level of wellness.

Is a leader in professional nursing both in direct care and in colleague relationships using ethical principles, collaboration, peer review, evidence-based practice, and teaching & learning principles.

Position Qualifications:Minimum Education:- Registered nurse with a valid Indiana State RN license.
Colleagues hired with an associate degree must enter a BSN program within 12 months of hire and earn their BSN from a NLN or CCNE accredited program within 5 years of beginning their BSN degree.
Effective February 2021, Colleagues hired with an associate degree and 10 or more years of nursing experience may be exempt from entering into a BSN program.
Minimum Experience:
- One year Med/Surg experience
Certifications:
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
