Registered Nurse-Dialysis Charge

Overview

Responsibilities

Provides leadership to the Dialysis team to ensure quality of care and continuity of care delivery and to maintain efficiency and patient safety on a designated shift.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree in Nursing

2 of the most recent 4 years experience providing dialysis in an acute care setting

Licensure, Registration, Certification:

BLS

One of the following:

• Current Alabama RN license
• Current Multistate RN license in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) in Alabama*
• Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama

ACLS certfication may be required in designated areas by adminisration

Desired Qualifications:

BSN/MSN degree in Nursing

Licensure, Registration, Certification:

ACLS/PALS/NRP certification is encouraged as appropriate to patient population
