As a Peritoneal Dialysis RN, you will lead the way in clinical excellence and patient independence from day one.
DaVita is seeking an organized, self-directed Peritoneal Dialysis RN to manage Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) patients. You'll educate patients and caregivers in-clinic, enabling them to perform dialysis independently at home. This Peritoneal Dialysis RN role blends clinical care, patient education, and case management.
Key Responsibilities
Train patients and caregivers on PD procedures and self-care as a specialized Peritoneal Dialysis RN.
Manage a caseload of PD patients, including comprehensive assessments and care planning.
Monitor treatment progress, conduct home visits, and provide on-call support to ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes in your role as a Peritoneal Dialysis RN.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts.
Weekends and holidays off.
Flexible scheduling to manage your own Peritoneal Dialysis RN caseload.
Requirements
RN license in the state of practice.
Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation for home visits.
ADN required; BSN preferred.
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Outlook) for Peritoneal Dialysis RN documentation.
Preferred Experience
Dialysis (PD, HHD, chronic, or acute).
Patient education or teaching background.
Case management or telehealth experience.
CNN or CDN certification.
