Minimum 2 years of Dialysis nursing experience required.

<.>Job Summary
The Registered Nurse Dialysis provides direct patient care and comprehensive nursing services within the dialysis program. The RN performs patient assessments, develops and implements individualized care plans, administers medications, monitors dialysis treatments, provides patient education, and collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
The RN may also assume Charge Nurse responsibilities and oversee the care provided by LPNs and clinical technicians. The position requires flexibility, strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dialysis environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform admission and ongoing physical and psychosocial assessments of dialysis patients.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on clinical needs.
Monitor and adjust dialysis therapy according to patient condition and treatment requirements.
Administer and monitor medications in accordance with established policies.
Perform blood draws and other required nursing procedures.
Complete pre- and post-treatment assessments and accurately document patient responses.
Perform dialysis-related technical skills, including cannulation, machine setup, and disinfection.
Respond appropriately to patient emergencies and changes in condition.
Provide patient and family education, including dialysis modality education and rehabilitation support.
Participate in primary nursing care and case management while providing direct patient care.
Collaborate with physicians, Medical Directors, dialysis staff, hospital departments, outside agencies, and other healthcare providers.
Function as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Oversee and coordinate care provided by clinical technicians and other assigned personnel.
Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities when assigned.
Provide leadership, mentoring, orientation, and training to team members.
Maintain infection prevention and control standards and follow HIPAA requirements.
Maintain a safe, clean, compliant, and organized patient care environment.
Demonstrate strong customer service, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Participate in required training, in-services, continuing education, and process-improvement initiatives.
Ability to administer medications and perform patient assessments.
Ability to work with clinical technicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong communication, leadership, and critical-thinking skills.
Must be flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Must pass a color vision test.
Ability to respond to audible alarms is required.
Must be able to stand and walk for most of the shift.
Ability to lift/push patients and handle dialysate solution containers.
Must be able to work around hazardous waste and materials.
