• Hours/Week: Based on schedule cycle

• Licenses/Certifications: Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CDN or CNN preferred
• Experience: 1 year inpatient dialysis experience required; first-time travelers need 2+ years in acute care

What You’ll Do:

• Provide specialized dialysis patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Access fistulas and dialysis catheters with critical thinking skills
• Administer dialysis treatments using Braun machines
• Float across multiple facilities within the healthcare system
• Collaborate with charge nurses and support staff to ensure quality care
• Complete charting using Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Maintain safety standards and adhere to compliance protocols
• Communicate effectively during call shifts and respond to emergency needs

What You Need:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or state of residence
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; CDN or CNN preferred
• 1+ year inpatient dialysis experience; familiarity with Braun dialysis machines preferred
• Critical thinking and independent work skills
• Ability to travel between facilities smoothly
• Experience with vascular access and dialysis procedures
