Registered Nurse-Director of Patient Services

Director of Patient Services - CHHA

Our client, located in Queens, NY, is seeking a Director of Patient Services skilled in CHHA regulations and nursing leadership to join our team.

In this position, you would be responsible for the CHHA clinical and administrative program oversight including scheduling, caregiver management, billing, and quality. We are looking for candidates that have strong leadership skills, knowledgeable in Home Care regulations, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plans and directs operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services.
• Monitor patient services according to authorized care plans, schedules, and agency policies.
• Monitor referrals, admissions, assessments, start-of-care activities, and ongoing patient services.
• Review patient charts to ensure compliance and conduct internal audits.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) in New York state, along with a Degree in Nursing or a related field
• Two or more years of experience in a management/supervisory role in a CHHA setting
• Demonstrated leadership ability; ability to lead teams and empower staff
• Experience with HHAeXchange or similar home care management software is strongly preferred.
• Experience with an EMR, such as Home Care Home Base preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail in reviewing patient records and reports.

Salary Range: $180,000 - $200,000
