Job Title: Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) — Cheyenne River Health Center, Eagle Butte, SD
Employment Type: Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts | Government Contract (IHS)
About the Role
Asa Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Inpatient RNs to join our team supporting the Cheyenne River Health Center, an Indian Health Service Critical Access Hospital serving the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe in Eagle Butte, South Dakota. This is meaningful, high-impact nursing — full-scope inpatient care for newborn through geriatric patients in a close-knit community where your work truly matters.
Schedule
- Two (2) 12-hour shifts per day coverage, 7 days/week rotation
- Day and night shift options
- On-call rotation included
What You'll Do
- Provide full-scope inpatient nursing care (newborn, pediatric, adult, geriatric)
- Rotate into Emergency and Outpatient departments as needed for coverage
- Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation per IHS standards
- Perform charge nurse duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current, active, unrestricted RN license (compact or SD state license)
- Minimum 12 months acute/inpatient experience within the last 2 years
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA-certified)
- Ability to pass FBI fingerprint background check and Indian Child Protection Act character investigation
- Up-to-date immunization records (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, COVID, Tdap, TB screening)
- Willingness to relocate to Eagle Butte, SD for the duration of the assignment
