$BONUS ELIGIBLE POSITION$ Position Summary The staff registered nurse is responsible for implementing, directing, communicating and documenting the nursing process and provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and employees Job Responsibilities Documents a physical assessment of patient. Communicates with patients, families and/or significant others in an effort to individualize patients plan of care to them. Verifies that physician orders are transcribed properly and carried out properly. Education/Experience Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed as a professional nurse by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau. A BSN degree is desirable. Successful completion of the Community Healthcare Systems Personnel and Nursing Orientation Programs. Obtains and maintains current certification in BLS, and other certifications as required in specialty areas.
